'I'm happy with Jason Kubel," Gardenhire said. 'I don't know how I'd get (Thomas) at-bats because I plan on letting Jason Kubel have all of these at-bats."
No mention of Monroe. Excellent.

I did not see it live but the radio and statistician blamed Kubel on a ball that came out of his glove as he and Gomez were both making a play on the ball. Cuddy should be back soon so Kube's poor defensive skills will no longer be exposed. Can Monroe play a better RF or LF, will he possibly be in there to give rest to the outfield corners going forward as Kube's DH's full time?
